Albi. Next blood donation drive

The next blood drive will be held in Carmaux on Tuesday June 7, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and on Wednesday June 8 and Thursday June 9, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., François-Mitterrand room, organized by the French Blood Establishment , in partnership with the Association of voluntary blood donors of Carmaux.

What if you became a hero by offering life to patients waiting for blood products? Blood donation is a simple and generous gesture that only 4% of the population performs each year. Giving blood is a supportive and vital gesture that can save lives.

Emergency aid, surgical interventions, blood diseases, cancers… Blood product needs are daily. Today, there is no treatment or synthetic drug capable of replacing human blood and labile blood products from blood donations. Come save lives by donating blood.

To be able to donate blood: do not fast and drink well before and after the donation; feel healthy, be between 18 and 70 years old, weigh more than 50 kg and have not been transfused. The health pass is not necessary to donate blood.
