The 63-year-old Prince of Monaco does not give many interviews, but he has now given his opinion to BBC World about the much-discussed interview in which Harry and Meghan openly spoke about the reasons why they left the United Kingdom and the problems they faced with the (rest of) the British royal family.
“I understand they were under tremendous pressure,” said Albert. But such conversations should be conducted within the intimate sphere of the family and not in the public sphere. Fair? It annoyed me a bit. I can understand in a way what they went through, but I don’t think this was the right forum to have this discussion. ‘
