Albania Qualifies for 2024 European Championships led by Sylvinho

Thirteen teams have already qualified for the 2024 European Championships: on Friday afternoon, in fact, the green light also arrived for the team led by Sylvinho, who drew 1-1 at Moldova and took the pass after reaching share 14 in the Group E standings, distancing the Czech Republic and Poland, the two big favorites to advance to the next round. A decisive goal from a penalty by Cikalleshi in the 25th minute was then equalized at the end of the match by Baboglo. This was enough for Albania to secure their second qualification for the final phase of a European Championship, after that of 2016: then the Albanians were then eliminated in the groups by France and Switzerland, after having had the satisfaction of beating Romania in what remains the first and only victory in a major tournament.
