Alan Wake Remastered Trailer Compares Polished Game to Original

A lot can change in eleven years, as you can see when watching the new trailer for Alan Wake Remastered. Although the original Alan Wake in 2010 seemed perfectly fine – mainly due to the good use of darkness and light (both visually and as a theme) – it could certainly use a freshening up. The remaster does just that, with 4K graphics and updated graphics. Even with the new images it is still very clear that this is not the newest game anymore, but a remaster does not have to go that far.

The Watch remembers being allowed to pick a game after graduating from high school, but Alan Wake went for it because the Limited Edition looked like a book and he was a little bit of a pretentious jellyfish. In the end, it turned out to be a fantastic choice, as the Guard still remembers a lot about the wildly stylish game (including that shitty web series beforehand) and found the story to be a feast for the eyes. So it’s time to dive into the game again, which will be available in 4K from October 5th!

Alan Wake Remastered will be released on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, and will also be playable for the first time on PlayStation consoles, namely PS4 and PS5.
