Al Nasser managed to advance to the finals Arab Club Champions Cup 2023 after beating Al Shorta 1-0. Goals scored Cristiano Ronaldo from white point.
The semifinal round of the Arab Club Champions Cup brought together Al Shorta vs Al Nassr. The match took place at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium, Wednesday (9/8/2023) evening WIB.
Al Nassr lowered his best squad since the first minute. Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic and Alex Telles appeared as starters.

Al Nassr had many opportunities early in the first half. Talisca’s two attempts were still thwarted by Al Shorta’s goalkeeper, Al Fadhli.
Al Shorta threatened again before halftime. Ahmed Farhan’s long-range shot was saved by Al Nassr goalkeeper Alaqidi. The first half ended in a goalless draw.
Al Nassr did not relax his attacks in the second half. Ronaldo’s shot in the 51st minute was dammed by Al Fadhli.
PENALTY! Al Nassr was rewarded with 12 fitting in the 71st minute. Sadio Mane was brought down by Faisal Jassim in the forbidden box.
GOL! Ronaldo, who advanced as the executor of the penalty, successfully netted the ball against Al Shorta. Al Nassr leads 1-0.
Ronaldo almost scored a second goal in the 88th minute. CR7’s header from Sadio Mane’s cross was pushed over by the goalkeeper.
Al Shorta almost equalized in the 90th minute through an attempt by Ahmed Farhan. Alaqidi brushed aside Farhan’s shot in a one-on-one situation.
The 1-0 score for Al Nassr lasted until the long whistle sounded. The Global Club has qualified for the final of the Arab Club Champions Cup and is waiting for the winner between Al Hilal vs Al Shabab.
