Al-Masry for “The Seventh Day”: We will address Berkane to play the two matches in Morocco

Tariq Hashem, a member of the board of Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi club, expressed his strong dissatisfaction with the official speech that the club management received from the Egyptian Football Association, through which he informs the security authorities of the refusal to hold matches of the first team of the ball in the Egyptian club in the African Confederation Championship, the General League and the Egypt Cup at the Ismailia stadium.

In his speech, the Football Association called on the Egyptian club to select an alternative stadium as soon as possible to host the first leg of the quarter-final match of the seventeenth edition of the Confederation Championship, which brings together Al-Masry and his guest, the Moroccan Berkane Renaissance team, a match scheduled for the first of next March.

A member of the Al-Masry Council said in exclusive statements to “The Seventh Day”: “The Al-Masry Council is in a permanent session until a solution to this crisis is found, and we will not overlook our rights easily, and we will address the African Union and escalate that crisis, especially as we have ended the sanctions that were imposed on us 8 years ago, And we have the right, like any Egyptian team participating in the African Championships, to play its matches on the stadium that we define with a public presence of at least 10 or 15 thousand fans. “

Tareq Hashem added: “We will address Nahdat Berkane Club in order to play the home and away matches in the quarter-finals of the Confederation in Morocco, especially since the one match we play in Alexandria costs the club treasury nearly 300,000 pounds.”

Adam Al-Masry continued his speech: “Why does the Football Association treat the Egyptian club and its fans in this way? We do not report anything about any club participating in the African Championship, and I feel very sad about this decision, but we will not give up our rights.”

The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Club had addressed the Football Association in order to obtain security approval to hold the matches of the Egyptian team at the Ismailia stadium in an effort by the Egyptian Club Board of Directors to provide support and public support to the team during its upcoming matches with all the tournaments that it participates in.
