Al Ain Extends Lead in U-21 Professional League with Victory Over Khor Fakkan

Al Ain strengthened its lead in the U-21 Professional League, by defeating its host Khor Fakkan 2-1, in the “postponed” match between the two teams from the “ninth round”, which was held at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium in Khor Fakkan, and the “second postponed” match witnessed a draw between Shabab Al Ahly and Sharjah. 1-1.
Rilwano Sarki scored the lead goal for Shabab Al-Zaeem in the 47th minute, before Doumbia, defender of the Eagles, added the second goal by mistake into his team’s net in the 48th minute (an own goal), while Yasser Al-Hammadi reduced the difference for the hosts with a goal in the 69th minute.
“Al-Zaeem” raised his score to 27 points from 11 matches, and is now one win away from his two matches in the first round, to win the “Winter Champion” title, as Al-Ain will meet its guest, Al-Bataeh, next Monday in “Round 12” at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium.
Al-Zaeem’s gains in its “postponed” match against Khor Fakkan extended to the rise of its midfielder, Rilwano Sarki, who scored the goal, to the top scorer in “League 21” with 7 goals, on par with the “duo”, Khalifa Al-Abadla, the Shabab Al-Ahly striker, and Muhammad Al-Balushi, the Ittihad Kalba player. The list also includes Al Ain striker Issa Khalfan, who ranked second with 5 goals.
At Maktoum Bin Rashid Stadium, the tie was settled 1-1 against Shabab Al-Ahly and its guest, Sharjah, and Bakr Khalifa Al-Abadla scored the lead for the home team in the 48th minute. Maid Al-Kass equalized for the visitors in the 60th minute, and Al-Fursan raised its score to 16 points in eighth place, versus 17 points for Sharjah, fifth.
The “12th round” of the Under-21 League begins on Sunday with the matches of Ittihad Kalba and Bani Yas, the Emirates and Al-Nasr, Hatta and Al-Jazira, and will be completed on Monday with matches between Al-Wahda and Khor Fakkan, Al-Ain and Al-Bataeh, Al-Wasl and Shabab Al-Ahly, Ajman and Sharjah.
