“I watched her contractions and cried”
Akzhol Mahmudov noted the role of the example of other athletes in achieving success. He announced this after participating in the Asian Greco-Roman wrestling championship, where he won gold.
“Aisuluu Tynybekova showed us a good example,” Makhmudov said. – She won the licensed world championship in Astana in 2019. Such competitions are distinguished by the fact that the strongest athletes in the Olympic weight categories take part in them. Aisuluu did what was required of her and won. I watched her contractions when I was flying after the operation. I cried. I understood that since Tynybekova won, we too could become world champions. Then I set myself this goal.
Recall that at the international competitions in Astana (Kazakhstan) our Greco-Roman wrestling team won 14 medals: 5 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze.
