In March, AJ and Rochelle announced that they had temporarily separated, but that they still hoped to save their marriage. “Being married is hard, but it’s worth it,” they wrote at the time. “We decided together to put an end to it temporarily. We hope to work on ourselves and our marriage.”
So that didn’t work. “Although we hoped for a reconciliation, we have decided to officially end our marriage,” the new post on Instagram reads. “It is with great love and respect that we have made this decision. Our priority now is to move forward in the healthiest way possible. Friendship and co-parenting for our girls are paramount in this next chapter.”
The former couple was married for twelve years and have two daughters together: Ava (10) and Lyric (5). AJ and Rochelle appear to have remained friends after their breakup, as the family has been spotted together several times in recent months. In November, they attended the premiere of ‘Trolls 3’ together in Los Angeles.
