AirTag support, Apple macOS update further improves Find My | XFastest News

In the latest version update of macOS Ventura 13.1 Beta, Apple has further improved the FindMy function to support searching for AirTags. Previously, users could only find AirTags in the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch versions of FindMy, and now Apple has introduced this feature for Mac devices.

IT Home has learned that in the previous version of macOS, users could only find devices like iPhones and AirPods via the FindMy feature, but this Beta update extends trackable devices to AirTags and other supported object tracking devices for the first time. Find My.

To find this new option, open the FindMy app on your Mac. Then click the “Items” tab and click the accessory you want to find. In addition to the normal options for locating objects, a new “Play Sound” option has been added to the beta. Trackable accessories such as AirTags will make a sound after clicking, and the overall operation is the same as iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
