Paradox Interactive and Triumph Studios released a new expansion for Age of Wonders: Planetfall – Invasions. The expansion is also part of the Season Pass. It adds a new breed, the lizard-like Shakam, expanded worlds, unique challenges and alternative game modes to the main game. Planet fall is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and for the first time on Mac, including all the extensions. Mac owners get access to the same scope and all updates that are also available on the other platforms.
Invasions provides a new experience in combat, espionage and diplomacy – the biggest expansion for Age of Wonders: Planetfall. The Shakam are nefarious lizard beings, masters of deception, who destroy everything in their way of total submission. With the Therians a new NPC faction is introduced. They are anthropomorphic beings who have mixed their DNA with that of animals to accelerate their evolution. You can be friend or foe.
Two new campaign cards are also part of the new one Invasions-Expansion, as well as a new game mode in Juggernaut style: Conquered Worlds. In this mode, players ally against an overpowering opponent. The expansion also introduces disasters: from a pirate raid to sun storms. In the endgame, the Voidbringers will now wage a trans-dimensional war against players by unleashing legions of soldiers.
