Against Celta Vigo, Real Madrid will be led by Ancelotti’s son

Carlo Ancelotti can’t accompany Real Madrid in the fight against Celtic vigo. The role of Don Carlo was replaced by his son.

Real Madrid will travel to Celta Vigo’s headquarters when La Liga returns after the international break. The match against Celta Vigo will be held on Saturday (2/4/2022) evening WIB.

Positive for COVID-19, Ancelotti is confirmed to be absent from accompanying Madrid on the visit to Celta Vigo. Quoted from Marca, Ancelotti’s position on the sidelines was replaced by his son, Davide Ancelotti.

This is not the first time Davide has succeeded his father as first-team coach. Davide once did so in Napoli’s 1-2 defeat to Roma in the 2019/20 season.

Davide is a man who can speak four languages. The advantage is of course an advantage in communicating with each player.

Still according to Marca, Davide is a figure who is also very vocal in Madrid’s training session at Valdebebas. On the other hand, Ancelotti only monitors training.

Davide started his career under Ancelotti while at Paris Saint-Germain in 2012 before moving on to Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Napoli and Everton. Davide’s influence so far has been quite prominent in training sessions.

Davide has obtained a UEFA A license and also has a degree in sports science. Davide once commented on his travels when Ancelotti was in charge of Everton.

“I didn’t have enough talent to be a professional player, but I liked it, so I decided to study it and train to the fullest,” Davide told the Guardian at the time.
