Earthquake another follow up occurred in Cianjur Regency, West Java. This time, the earthquake centered on the ground has a magnitude (M) of 3.4.
“The epicenter was on the mainland 7km southwest of Kab-Cianjur,” BMKG wrote via its official Twitter account on Friday (11/25/2022).
BMKG recorded the earthquake as occurring at 03.51 WIB. The earthquake coordinates were at 6.85 south longitude and 107.08 east longitude.
It is not yet known whether there was any impact from the earthquake. The BMKG warns of the potential for aftershocks.
“Be aware of aftershocks that may occur,” the BMKG wrote.
