After three days, they found two living children in the rubble after the earthquake

Friday’s earthquake had an epicenter in the Aegean Sea, northeast of the island of Samos. According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the earthquake had a magnitude of 6.9 degrees, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported 7.0 and the Kandilli Seismological Observatory in Istanbul measured 6.9 degrees. Earthquakes are common in Turkey. In 1999, two strong quakes killed 18,000 people in the northwest of the country.
