After the posthumous album dedicated to Keram, two Orléanais release a clip

Julien, alias Keram, would have been 30 years old on February 28. To continue to honor his memory, Amélie, his older sister, and Demdy, his boyfriend met on the benches of the school at La Source, now a rapper, publish on YouTube, the clip of the song A star. “This is the first track that we both composed and recorded after his death at the Orleans hospital in early 2019,” recalls Amélie.

“My memories of you are made of love and joy. With each step I take, I will have your heart close to me. My tears flow because I am bleeding. Know that your word will be mine.”

Amélie and Demdy (songwriters A star)

The words of the chorus awaken the sadness of the entourage of the young man who died of astounding leukemia. “The lyrics actually allude to the brotherhood and friendship that characterized our relationships, as well as to the lack, to mourning, to hope,” continues the young woman. With the friends of his brother and in particular the rapper Demdy, they have already published, in April 2020, an eponymous album in tribute to Keram. Twenty-seven songs, which the young man had started to write in his hospital room and which his entourage completed and recorded. His project turned into a real album, funded by an online jackpot and allowed “to carry his voice with so much benevolence not to forget it”.

This is one of his titles,

A star
, which Amélie and Demdy have put in pictures today.
The sequences were filmed, for the most part, in the forest of Orleans, at the Belvédère des Caillettes and in Vrigny, as well as on the beach of Combleux.

“The clip was posted online on her birthday and it seems to have rained since it has already been seen nearly 10,000 times. It’s quite extraordinary”, enthuses Amélie who recalls that the album is also still downloadable on the platforms. An album whose funds generated by downloads and streaming are donated to the Gustave-Roussy Institute in Villejuif, the leading center for the fight against cancer in Europe..

“Cramp” is available on all download platforms since April 24, 2020: Deezer, Spotify, Itunes …
“A star” has been online on YouTube since February 28, 2021.
