Today, the parliament will consider projects for imposing a moratorium on the granting of concessions, the sale of state and municipal hospitals and appointments in the state administration. The draft decisions were submitted by the BSP and “Stand up! Get out!”, And the goal is for the outgoing government not to be able to sign contracts for concessions, sale of state and municipal hospitals and for appointments in the state administration.

The moratorium should last until a new Council of Ministers is elected or a caretaker government is appointed.

The deputies will also vote to cancel their Easter vacation at the suggestion of “There are such people”. The program also provides for consideration of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament. GERB is also expected to comment on the formation of a cabinet with “There is such a people”.

GERB is preparing to return the unfulfilled mandate for a cabinet

Yesterday, the ruling GERB party failed in its attempts to organize talks on its proposed cabinet, after “Democratic Bulgaria” officially rejected the invitation, and “There is such a people” remained completely silent on the invitation. Resigned Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has announced that in this situation, the exploratory mandate to form a government will be returned to the president on Thursday or Friday morning at the latest. This should trigger the second phase of the constitutional procedure – a proposal to the party of TV presenter Slavi Trifonov to form a government.

The new plenary week began with an exchange of sharp attacks between parliamentary groups, and GERB hastened to submit a proposal for a commission of inquiry into the Rosenets case before the author of the idea, Democratic Bulgaria. The resigned prime minister never went to answer to the deputies on the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability, despite the decision voted last week. The hearing was surprisingly dropped from parliament’s weekly program without being condemned.
