Gold prices stabilized in the local market, during Sunday’s trading, after setting a new record yesterday.
Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said that the price of a gram of 21-carat gold recorded today is 757 pounds, the same price as yesterday.
He added that the price of a gram of 18 carat gold recorded today is 649 pounds, 24 carats about 865 pounds, and the gold pound is about 6056 pounds.
Today is an official holiday for global stock exchanges.
And gold prices in the local market rose to its highest level, affected by the jump achieved by the global gold price to reach its highest level in 7 years, according to Naguib Lamraoui yesterday.
