KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The news of the acquisition of issuers in the capital market has surfaced again. The news that reached KONTAN said that PT Provident Capital Indonesia, an entity owned by tycoon Winato Kartono, was ready to increase its ownership of shares in PT Mega Manunggal Property Tbk (MMLP).
It is not enough to hold 32.8% of MMLP’s shares, Provident Capital will increase its ownership to become the majority shareholder. “This corporate action will be carried out after the sale of TBIG (PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk) shares owned by PT Provident Capital Indonesia,” said a KONTAN source who did not want to be named, Monday (18/7).
