After Putin’s sacking: Here’s a “tip” for Ukraine!

The Dresden restaurant Am Thor has come up with something special for the Ukraine.

Dresden – Aggressor Wladimir Putin (69) once drank from time to time after his “KGB work”. a beer in the Dresden restaurant “Am Thor” at Albertplatz, got a “cult corner”. Those times are long gone. Now there’s news from “Thor” – the warmonger won’t like it.

In general, things are not easy for Dresden with its former “cult” surrounding the Russian president, who brings immeasurable suffering to Ukraine – and other parts.

The fact that the warmonger was rolled out the red carpet and the Order of St. George at the 4th Semper Opera Ball was already a hit with many back in 2009. He’s rid of the medal and hasn’t returned it yet.

The restaurant “Am Thor” is now also reacting – with a good promotion!

“We, as Wenzel Restaurants, run the ‘Am Thor’ on the main street,” which was once Putin’s favorite pub, says general manager Joachim Müller.

That

And when they took over the “Thor” in 2019, a national newspaper headlined: “Landlord throws Putin out of the pub” because the managing director of Wenzel GmbH, Michael Möckel, no longer considered this terrible photo altar for the despot three years ago as justifiable felt.

According to PR manager Viktoria Franke, more and more guests are currently asking about the corner.

Usually the reaction is positive – à la “it’s good that he’s gone”. “Last week we even had a Japanese TV crew filming there because of the war.” Now RTL is also coming to the shooting – the broadcast is planned for Saturday (7.05 p.m., on “Life, People and Stories”).

“Our team has decided to donate 10 percent of the tip every day,” because they want to do more because of the background to Putin’s war of aggression.

“We collect together every week and then donate to local and international projects. One of our regular guests also took in three Ukrainians who we invite to dinner at the weekend and will continue to do so as a support.”

So everyone can do something good – feast and help with a tip…
