Twitter has removed more than 100,000 posts in recent years because they contained false information about the corona pandemic. Under its new boss Musk, the social network has stalled again.
After being taken over by billionaire Elon Musk, Twitter no longer takes action against misinformation in the context of the corona pandemic. The corresponding measures were already suspended on Wednesday of last week, as if from a Announcement on the Twitter site emerges.

Musk himself has downplayed the 2020 pandemic. He has also criticized the lockdowns, which temporarily halted production at his electric car maker Tesla’s main plant. According to his own statements, the 51-year-old had contracted Covid twice.
More recently, Musk has started allowing accounts that have been banned on Twitter again. The entrepreneur bought Twitter for the equivalent of around 44 billion euros and took it over in October.
