JAKARTA – The Investment Alert Task Force (SWI) confirms Binomial, OlympTrade, Quotex and OctaFX are illegal brokers not registered with CoFTRA. SWI chairman Tongam L Tobing said OctaFX often changes the name and address of the site.
In fact, it has been announced several times as an illegal entity by SWI and applications for blocking OctaFX sites have been made.
“CoFTRA, a member of the Investment Alert Task Force, also frequently announces and proposes to block OctaFX sites that have changed names,” Tongam said to the media, quoted on Sunday (20/2/2022).
Next, SWI will verify influencers or youtubers who promote OctaFX in Indonesia. For your information, OctaFX advertisements often appear on Youtube and are promoted by youtubers and influencers such as Deddy Corbuzier, Boy William, Fiki Naki to Picky Picks.
“We ask all influencers to stop promoting the activities of illegal brokers,” he concluded.
