Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel will play for the French football club “Nice” next season, the team announced. The contract is concluded for three years.
Kasper, the son of the legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, has been playing for Leicester City since 2011. He was the club’s main goalkeeper for 11 years, always being one of the cornerstones of the club, including in the fantastic 2015/2016 season. in the season in which the Leicester club won the Premier League championship. He also has the FA Cup, the Super Cup, as well as the second league title in 2013.
The 35-year-old Dane has also been the main goalkeeper of the national team in recent years, four times recognized as Denmark’s best football player.
