Al-Ahly player Mohamed Magdi Afsha expressed his hopes that his team will face Zamalek in the African Champions League final next May after the two teams pass the semi-final hurdle.
Al-Ahly qualified to meet Moroccan Wydad in the semi-finals, and Zamalek also faces the Moroccan Raja team hoping to reach the final match.
In comments to “On Time Sports” channel, Magdy Afsha said: “I hope to meet Zamalek in the Champions League final, it will be a great match, I love this type of confrontation.”
Afsha added: “Zamalek’s encounters are fun. These matches are characterized by public pressure and great interest, as they are technically on the field, allowing for spaces and open play.”
Al-Ahly playmaker concluded: “I faced Zamalek a lot before, since I was in Al-Rajaa Club, I love playing against him, and I hope that the African Champions League final will bring us together.”
