However, it appears that Apple is already working on a more affordable successor due in 2025. According to @URedditor, there will be some design changes, and Apple has opted for a simple strap on the cheaper headset.
It is likely that Apple will try to cut costs without reducing the experience of the AR and VR headset, since that is precisely the main selling point for the futuristic glasses. But even if we were to say that this successor is more affordable, it is unlikely that the price will suddenly drop to anything below 1000 dollars.
