Aespa will make history: it will be the first K-Pop group to perform at the Governors Ball Festival in New York

K-pop girl group Aespa4th-generation icon set to make history by becoming the first Korean music act to perform at the festival Governors Ball 2023which will be held in New York in June and will be led by Lizzo, ODESZA y Kendrick Lamar.

“We are so excited to perform at the Gov Ball. We can’t wait to see our New York fans and have a great time at the festival. We’ll make sure to put on an amazing performance, so let’s have fun with everything we’ve got!” expressed the group that will perform in the prestigious Main Stage of the festival.

The Governors Ball will take place from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 June, and Aespa will perform on Saturday June 10.

In July 2020, Aespa launched Girls – The 2nd Mini Album, which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart, evidencing its growing arrival in the United States. On the other hand, the group will perform their first VR (Virtual Reality) concert at the festival South by Southwest (SXSW) said To mein Austin, Texas, where you can see the girls and their æ-pairs in the 20-minute long VR experience.
