Minister Van Peteghem now finally wants to put an end to such practices. “Virtual currencies are becoming more and more established in our society. It is important that those who invest in virtual currencies with the best intentions can do so with knowledge of the business,” the minister said in a press release.
“Financial dramas, as we have read too often in the press in recent months, should be avoided. We have to protect the people. That is why strict rules and strict controls are necessary.”
