So far, Advan is well known for its devices that are sold to the market entry level and has a low price. But apparently, this only happened in the past. Because on August 4, 2023 at the Black Owl Kelapa Gading restaurant, Advan released 3 new laptops with quite high specifications.
Chandra Tansri as Advan’s CEO said that technology is now like a commodity because almost everyone is connected and cannot be separated from technology. Therefore, Advan wants to present a device, namely a laptop, which is not only good looking, elegant, thin and light, but also high performance for Indonesian consumers. This gave birth to Advan WorkPlus, WorkPro, and PixelWar laptops.
Advan also said that they really wanted to return to the laptop market they had left behind. The reason is because technology is developing quite rapidly and many world laptop brands are developing many laptops. Laptops have also changed the way Indonesian consumers work, learn and play.
Advan WorkPro is a laptop that uses an Intel Core i5 1035G7 processor. With a 14-inch 16:10 screen, this laptop’s IPS panel has a resolution of 1920×1200. The installed RAM has a capacity of 8 GB and the internal storage is SSD 512 GB. The battery owned by this laptop has a capacity of 6,600 mAh.
The second laptop is Advan WorkPlus which already uses AMD Ryzen 5 6600H. Uniquely, Advan has equipped this laptop with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB SSD storage. The dimensions and screen specifications are the same as Workpro. The battery capacity is 5050 mAh.
Device gaming introduced this time called PixelWar equipped with AMD Ryzen 5 6600H and AMD Radeon 6500M. RAM used has a capacity of 16 GB and internal storage is an NVMe SSD of 512 GB. The screen has dimensions of 16 inches with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 refresh rate 120Hz. This laptop also has keyboard Definite RGB available on the device gaming.
All laptops launched can beupgrade SSD capacity. Advan WorkPro itself can also increase its RAM capacity. But for WorkPlus and PixelWar, Advan said that the capacity was already high, so they removed the option to increase the capacity. All laptops also have a 1 year warranty.
The price offered by Advan is also quite affordable in its class. Advan WorkPro is sold at Rp. 5,299,000. For Advan WorkPlus it is sold at Rp. 7,299,000. Lastly for Advan PixelWar, the price is Rp. 11,999,000.
Advan WorkPro will be sold at Shopee on 7-21 August 2023 with a discount of Rp. 300,000. For Advan WorkPlus, a discount of Rp. 300,000 will be available on Tokopedia from 1-14 August 2023. Advan PixelWar will be available on Tokopedia on 25-31 August 2023 with a discount of Rp. 1 million.
