Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md ensure the General Chairman (Ketum) Democratic party (PD) which is currently legal is still Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY). The initiator of the event which was claimed to be the Democrat’s Extraordinary Congress (KLB), Hencky Luntung, considered Mahfud’s statement to be wise.
“It is natural in a statement by a senior official. We have not entered (the KLB results have not been registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights), we just want to enter tomorrow, the results of the KLB. Until now, AHY is still recorded, right. Very good, Mr. Mahfud wisely, “said Hencky, told reporters on Sunday (7/3/2021).
Hencky also admits that AHY is still the Democrat Ketum. But he believes things will change after the decision made in the event that is claimed to be KLB Demokrat registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights).
“Even now (AHY is still the Head of PD), to this very second, it is still overnight. But, when it comes tomorrow, he will verify. Verification is not one minute, two minutes. Of course there is time,” said Hencky. .
“And still we will temporarily acknowledge while being verified, or even state according to the statutes that it is legal or not, there is no decision yet,” he added.
Previously reported, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md said there were no related legal problems KLB Demokrat which is called illegal in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra (Sumut). Mahfud said that the current official PD board was the eldest son of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), namely AHY.
“If asked whether after the KLB in Medan or in Deli Serdang Medan and for the government we are not talking legitimate and illegitimate, now because for the government there is no official report on the outbreak,” Mahfud said via video recording to journalists, Saturday (6 / 3/2021).
“So there is no legal problem. Now the official board at the government office is AHY, son of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono,” he continued.
