The new Adiputro Jetbus 5 bus was caught on camera driving on a toll road. It is suspected that this bus was traveling from Malang to Jakarta in preparation for the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) automotive exhibition in BSD-City, Tangerang, on August 10-20.
The leaked photo of the Adiputro Jetbus 5 bus was uploaded by the Instagram account @frldwisptra. In the picture, you can see the Adiputro bus with the words Jetbus 5 on the windshield, and the initials DC, which stands for Dream Coach. Yes, this bus is the Adiputro Jetbus 5 sleeper class version.
For the rest, it’s quite difficult to see how this bus has changed from the Jetbus 3+ generation. The reason is that the bus is covered in camouflage stickers from the fascia, mirrors, even to the windshield or the headband. This sticker also appears to cover the side of the body to the back.
For information, Adiputro Jetbus 5 will be introduced at GIIAS 2023. This coincides with the 50th anniversary of the car body from Malang. At the GIIAS 2023 automotive exhibition, Adiputro will carry out the handover process (handover of units) to the autobus companies that have ordered Jetbus 5 units.
Reportedly Jetbus 5 will change completely from its predecessor, Jetbus 3+. The most significant changes touted occur in the interior. One of the POs that have ordered the Jetbus 5 body is PO SAN. This PO from Bengkulu will combine the Jetbus 5 single glass body, with the latest Scania chassis which has passed Euro5.
