In addition to the mandatory vaccines, children can get additional vaccinations. From what diseases it is worth protecting your child, said dermatovenereologist Roman Ivanov.

According to him, first of all, a child can be vaccinated against hepatitis A, which will save him from a long period of illness, reduce the severity of the disease itself and the risk of complications.

The specialist explained Gazete.ru, that the hepatitis vaccine is given twice at intervals of 6-12 months and provides protection for 6-25 years. The doctor advises doing it between the first and second year of a child’s life.

Also in Russia, children can be vaccinated against tick-borne encephalitis, which causes inflammation of the brain. “Vaccination can be given to children from 12 months old,” Ivanov added.

Earlier, cardiologist Denis Sokolov listed products dangerous for the heart.
