Pensioners who are employed simultaneously on the basis of a civil law contract (contract for specific work or a mandate contract) may receive over PLN 2,000. It is enough to meet several conditions.

Retirement pensioners may apply for a parking allowance. This benefit applies to contracts concluded before April 1, 2020 and is granted when a given person has no other title to social insurance.
In order to receive additional money, the pensioner must prove that he cannot perform a civil law contract due to the pandemic downtime.

The amount of revenues from recent months is also important. If in the month before submitting the application for the parking benefit, the amount of income did not exceed PLN 1299.99, the retired person is entitled to the benefit in the amount of the sum of remuneration under the contracts performed at that time – we read on Biznesinfo.pl
Revenue from a civil law contract may not exceed “the amount calculated as 300% of the average monthly salary from the previous quarter announced by the President of the Central Statistical Office on the basis of the provisions on pensions from the Social Insurance Fund, in force on the day of submitting the application” – explains the government portal.
The Standstill Benefit can be obtained up to three times. In order for the parking allowance to be re-granted, a declaration must be made that the material situation demonstrated in the previous application has not improved. You can still apply for benefits for the previous months – March, April or May.

Retirees can gain an additional PLN 2,080!
Pensioners can earn an additional PLN 2,080 from the parking benefit if:
- started operating before April 1, 2020 and did not suspend their operations, and the revenue for the month preceding the month before the month in which they applied for the parking benefit was at least 15% lower than the income they obtained in the preceding month;
- started their business activities before April 1, 2020, but suspended them after January 31, 2020;
- they have no other title to social security.
The retirement pension in the amount of PLN 1,300 may be granted to pensioners, provided that:
- they settle the tax with a tax card and are exempt from paying VAT;
- they have no other title to social security.
The payment of the next parking benefit may take place at the earliest in the month following that of the previous one.
