With a career spanning more than 20 years, including a decade at Adani Wilmar, Mr. Shah brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. As the newly appointed head of media and digital marketing, he will be responsible for strategically driving the company’s entire brand, including the oil and food portfolio. In his role as Brand Custodian for Fortune, Mr. Shah will ensure the brand’s relevance and resonance in the dynamic FMCG landscape by leveraging his extensive marketing expertise and strategic understanding.

An MBA in Marketing graduate, Mr. Shah started his marketing journey at Vadilal where he worked as a Product and Brand Manager. He furthered his skills at Alembic Glass Industries Ltd. and Wagh Bakri, where he demonstrated his skills in brand management and strategic marketing. In 2014, Mr. Shah joined Adani Wilmar as Associate Manager, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey within the company.

Over the years, he played a crucial role in shaping the company’s food portfolio, particularly under the Fortune brand. His strategic acumen and innovative marketing initiatives have been instrumental in the successful launch and growth of various product categories including Soy Nuggets, Besan, Sugar, Poha, Pulses, Sattu and the launch of Rawa, Suji and Maida. Mr. Shah’s new role comes at a strategic time for Adani Wilmar and is in line with the company’s ambitions to expand its reach and consolidate its position in the FMCG sector.
