Eduardo Soteldo | LARA’S PRESS.- The party headquarters Democratic Action in The Florida and El Paraíso was illegally taken and assaulted by “Chavista collectives“in alleged collaboration with officials of the Special Action Forces (FAES) denounced the Venezuelan opposition.
Ivlev Silva, a deputy of the National Assembly, reported the attack on social networks, which was later replicated by the interim president of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó. While the party president Henry Ramos Allup, he stated that both venues were “assaulted by bands of heavily armed scorpions, supported by FAES officials and motorized groups of the regime. ”
“Know that AD will not be dominated either with pens or checks, or intimidation. It is a feeling that motivates the commitment of our leadership and militancy that it will not kneel or be part of a fraud” was part of what Allup said On twitter.
He also stressed that those who are part of the party must firmly defend “our symbols, our houses and the flags that they gave and will return democracy to Venezuela.”
The reactions by opposition politicians to the attack did not wait. One of those who rejected the actions was Alfonso Marquina, deputy for Lara state. His Twitter profile stated: “We repudiate this illegal and violent takeover of his party’s headquarters by the scorpions who are accomplices of the regime.”
