Veteran artist Yu Ziming has died at the age of 78. Yu Ziming’s family uploaded a black and white photo to their IG page today (10th), writing “Dad, have a nice trip”.
Yu Ziming has been a TVB contract artist for many years. The most famous role of him is the “Big Eyed Chicken” played in the “Happy Tonight” unit “Single Hanging West and Big Eyed Chicken”. Since the late 1990s, it has served as the licorice of a large number of TVB TV series. Characters, elders, Chaozhou, eunuchs and other characters are all hand in hand, such as Jiang Ziya in “Fengshen Bang”, Chongxu Daoist in ” Swordsman “and so on.
Yu Ziming was hospitalized earlier this year due to a stroke and his left side was temporarily paralyzed. He needed a wheelchair and was looked after by his family. Previously, Yu Ziming’s son explained his father’s physical condition on IG from time to time, revealing that his father’s “body was obviously deteriorating”, because too much phlegm could not be dissolved and he was concerned that the situation. it would have been complicated by pneumonia, so he was rushed to the hospital for an examination.
