The American actor Vin Diesel was reported for sexually assaulting one of his assistants, and then illegally firing her. The events allegedly occurred in 2010 during the filming of the film Fast & Furious 5. The assistant, whose name is Asta Jonasson and who had been hired only a few days earlier, said in the complaint that the actor masturbated while pinning her body against a wall, despite “repeated declarations of non-consent” from the ‘assistant (in the US legal system the type of crime for which he was reported is sexual battery). The complaint also includes allegations of gender discrimination, unlawful retaliation, emotional harm and wrongful termination, as she Jonasson said she was fired just hours after the alleged sexual assault. The actor, whose real name is Mark Sinclair and is 56, has denied all allegations.
