„Hawaii Five-0“-Stars im Original und im Reboot
In the first seven seasons of the new edition, “Officer Kono Kalakaua” played a key role in the team. The policewoman was played by Grace Park. For seven years she was part of the investigative team with “Daniel Williams”, “Steve McGarrett” and Co. In 2017 she left the series.
Grace Park has been working in Hollywood since her Hawaii Five-0 exit. She stayed true to the series. She last starred in “A Million Little Things”. In addition to her acting career, Grace Park is also a mother. Park has one child with her husband, Phil Kim, who she has been married to since 2004.

A fact that not everyone knew about “Hawaii Five-0”: In the original version of the series, “Kono” was not a woman, but a man. The beefy cop was portrayed by the Hawaiian Gilbert Lani Kauhi, also known as Zulu. The actor, who was also successful as a comedian in his home country, died in 2004 at the age of 66.
