Actor Jonathan Majors appears to have admitted in text messages that he abused his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari during their relationship. This became known on Friday during the trial against Majors.
American media write that messages were read out in the courtroom in which Majors asked his now ex-girlfriend not to go to the hospital with her injuries.
“I’m afraid you have no idea what can happen if you go to the hospital,” Majors sent to Jabbari last September. “They’ll ask you questions, and since I don’t think you’re really protecting us, even if you do lie and they suspect something, it could lead to an investigation.”
Jabbari emotionally read the messages in court in New York. She assured the actor in a text message that she would not blame him in the hospital. “I’ll tell the doctor I hit my head.”
Majors also wrote in messages that he would hurt himself if she went to the hospital. “I need love too. Or maybe I’m such a monster and terrible man that I don’t deserve it,” was read, among other things.
Majors is accused of domestic violence by his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. The actor, who recently appeared as villain Kang in the Marvel film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniaallegedly attacked her in a car in March.
