Alexander Oleshko stepped onto the stage of the Vakhtangov Theater, leaning on a cane. In the spring, the actor sprained his leg, but the consequences were much worse than he expected.
For more than three months, the star of Channel One has not been able to walk on his own. I had to play performances either on crutches or in a wheelchair, and all through hellish pain. When the presenter nevertheless visited the surgeon, he would make a frightening diagnosis – a rupture of the Achilles tendon. According to the artist, his leg just turned into rags. Doctors will prescribe an operation under anesthesia, put ten stitches.
Now the hospital is Oleshko’s second home. The treatment was painful. Every day of bandaging, I have to develop mobility through I can’t. The recovery period will take at least six months, writes MK.
