Actor Adama Niane – Léonard from popular Netflix series “Lupin” – passed away

Niane played the role of Léonard hired by Hubert Pellegrini in “Lupin” for seven episodes. The actor also appeared in the series “Plus belle la vie”, as lawyer Sébastien Sangha, and as a math teacher in “Sam”. In 2019, he starred in the thriller “Furie” (or “Get it”) and had a minor role in the cult film “Baise-moi” (2000).

Omar Sy from “Lupin” honors his colleague in a tweet: “A wonderful actor alongside whom I had the opportunity and pleasure to play. A man of rare benevolence and kindness.” Director Olivier Abbou, who shot “Furie” and “Maroni” with him, is also transfixed on Instagram: “Niane was dedicated, talented, powerful. He was my hero, friend and companion.”
