SEGA has within the Xbox Games Showcase the action role-playing game Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis announced that it will be released in 2021 for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Implementations for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch are also planned in Japan.
New Genesis is said to be the game systems and graphics engine Phantasy Star Online 2 take it to a new level and surpass the original in every respect, says SEGA and Microsoft. It will be nothing short of the best online action role-playing game for PC and Xbox One, according to marketing manager Takuro Yoshihara via Xbox Wire promises.
