But he stressed that even just one dose protects up to 50%. “Survivors should not be vaccinated very soon because they already have antibodies, and the vaccine further stimulates the immune system, which is not good. They do not need to be tested for accumulated antibodies, they just have to wait a few months,” said the immunologist. .
“It is already being said that the coronavirus is not an infection of the pulmonary system, but of the cardiovascular system,” he added. Regarding autoimmune diseases, Academician Petrunov noted that it depends on what exactly the disease is in order to assess whether a person should be vaccinated or not.
