AC Milan beat Torino thanks to Giroud’s goal, breaking a seven-game streak without a win
The match of the 22nd round of the Italian Serie A, in which Milan hosted Torino, has ended. The teams met at the San Siro (Giuseppe Meazza) stadium. The final whistle of the chief referee fixed the victory of the hosts.
The first half was held in an equal fight: the Milanese had a slight advantage in possession of the ball, but both teams struck five shots at the opponent’s goal and hit the target once. In the 60th minute, the French forward of the “black-reds” Olivier Giroud hit the goal of the “bulls” with a header after the pass of Theo Hernandez. This goal was the only one in the game.

Milan broke a seven-match streak without winning in all competitions, scored 41 points and climbed to third place, but three teams can overtake Stefano Pioli’s team at the end of the tour. Torino (30) – in seventh position.
