AC Milan faced with Inter Milan in the semifinals Liga Champions. The Rossoneri really want the Derby della Madonnina, the highest caste of European club competition.
Milan advanced to the semifinals of the Champions League after getting rid of Napoli. After winning 1-0 at home, Stefano Pioli’s team drew 1-1 at home to the Partenopei.
Meanwhile, Inter got rid of Portugal’s representative Benfica. Inter won 2-0 at home to The Eagle, then played 3-3 when playing at the Giuseppe Meazza.
The Milan derby is also presented in the Champions League. Milan host on 11 May 2023, six days later substitute Inter host.
Captain Milan, David Calabria, emphasized that his team really wanted this derby. The match is predicted to run extraordinary.
“We really want this fight, it will be an extraordinary and beautiful match. I think we are ready for it on the pitch and I can’t wait to live this match,” said Calabria at Semper Milan.
