The award was given jointly by the United Nations International Institute on Aging-Malta and the American University of Malta.
Abu Dhabi won gold in the Dynamic Communities category. The Abu Dhabi Corniche Parks and Gardens project also received silver. The award was announced at a ceremony held in the Republic of Malta on Friday.
Abu Dhabi City Municipality Director – General Saif Badr Al Qubaisi said that he is proud of the international awards received by the emirate.
