Dubai: Traffic fines can now be paid in interest-free installments in Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi Department of Transport has launched an easy payment service for this purpose.
Penalties can be paid in installments of three months, six months, nine months or 12 months.
Payments can be made in installments over fixed periods without interest or profit. Credit card holders from First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Emirates Islamic Bank can avail this service.
The Integrated Transport Center of the Department of Municipalities and Transport said that ITC aims to include more banks in the scheme by the first half of 2024.
Customers can pay the fine through TAMM service centers or customer happiness centers at the headquarters of Abu Dhabi City Municipality and Al Ain City Municipality, officials said.
