Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center’s Successful Participation in 31st New Delhi International Book Fair

The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center concluded its participation in the 31st session of the New Delhi International Book Fair, which was held from February 10 to 18, at the Pragati Exhibition Square in the Indian capital.
The Center’s goal, through its participation in the exhibition, is to introduce the Center’s most important initiatives and projects, such as awards, the Kalima Translation Project, Spotlight on Copyright, research grants, and to highlight its pivotal role in supporting the Arabic language, the publishing movement, translation, and creative industries in the Arab world, in addition to promoting For its publications and the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.
Effective communication
On this occasion, Dr. Ali bin Tamim, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, said: “We were keen to participate in this distinguished exhibition, which is a cultural link between the Arab, Indian and Asian communities, to introduce the programs of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center and its efforts aimed at enhancing cultural and civilizational communication in a manner of Thought, art, creativity and other manifestations of Arab civilization. He added: “It is important to expand the scope of cooperation that brings together the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center with institutions and cultural bodies from various cultures of the world, in order to attract more cultural and professional partnerships with scientific and cultural institutions and publishers. There is no doubt that the markets of the Asian continent and India are among the most promising markets for effective communication with Arab culture.” We must enhance our presence and increase Arab publications in it, and open the way for the exchange of knowledge and cultural and literary projects in a way that serves human and civilizational communication between peoples.”
It is noteworthy that the New Delhi International Book Fair was launched in 1972 and this year celebrates the 51st anniversary of its launch. It is one of the most prestigious international book fairs.
