Due to heavy snowfall from January 7th (Thursday), traffic is currently closed in northern Kyushu and Yamaguchi prefectures.
In the future, there is a possibility that traffic will be closed due to blizzards and heavy snow forecasts in a wide area of western Japan until around January 10 (Sun).
Please refer to the attachment for sections that are expected to be closed within the next 24 hours as of 10 o’clock on the 9th.

If even one vehicle on the highway cannot drive on its own, it may lead to long-term traffic jams and road closures.
In addition, depending on the snowfall situation, the road may be closed early and snow removal work may be performed.
