About thirty healthcare establishments have adopted Klaxit, a home-work carpooling solution

PARIS, June 21, 2021 (TecHopital) – Around thirty healthcare establishments have decided to adopt the Klaxit carpooling solution for home-work journeys, allowing drivers to be remunerated without the carpoolers having to pay for their journey, Julien Honnart, founder of Klaxit, explained to TecHopital.

“Some hospital sites are very poorly served by public transport, not very accessible, often with parking problems and the schedules of caregivers who do not necessarily stick to the schedules of public transport”, underlines Klaxit in a press release published on June 16.

Klaxit is a carpooling solution which responds both to a “demand from employees who wish to set up sustainable development initiatives”, to an “economic and social” need of hospital staff “because journeys are expensive and are quite tiring. “, and finally which responds to the mobility plans to which establishments are subject.

Since 2017, 30 healthcare establishments have opted for this carpooling solution, “generally large establishments such as the CHU de Poitiers or the Hospices Civils de Lyon (HCL), the CHU de Montpellier, the CHU de Clermont-Ferrand or even the Gustave-Roussy cancer center (CLCC) but also a certain number of hospitals (CH). We are going to look for the largest establishments because the solution requires a certain critical mass of users.
