ABN AMRO had to deal with an internet banking malfunction for more than a day. Many of the bank’s customers have been affected. The malfunction was resolved late Friday evening.
According to ABN AMRO, every effort has been made to resolve the malfunction as quickly as possible.
Due to the malfunction, the transactions only appeared much later in the online banking overview. According to the bank, there were only problems with displaying credits and debits. Customers could then simply transfer money.
The problems arose on Thursday afternoon, as can be seen at allestoringen. Bank customers complained on Twitter that the issues were still not resolved nearly 24 hours later. The cause of the malfunction is unknown.
