Abdel Fattah Muzain: Elderly Artists in Nursing Homes is an “Insult” – Exclusive Interview with Syrian Artist

The Syrian artist, Abdel Fattah Muzain, considered that the tendency of elderly artists to go to nursing homes is an “insult” to them in front of their fans and fans. Because usually in nursing homes there are people who do not have anyone to take care of them.

In an exclusive conversation with “Fuchsia,” Muzain expressed his dissatisfaction with his artistic career and the dramatic works he presented over the course of 63 years, amidst his wishes to be presented with a new and different character that he had never appeared in before, adding to his history more success and brilliance.

Muzain admitted that he felt remorse for choosing acting as a reliable profession, as his hopes were greatly disappointed, and he did not get what he deserved for the talent he possessed, as he put it.

The Syrian artist was affected as soon as he spoke about his children who are estranged from him due to their travel outside their country, Syria, and described them as the most precious possessions he owns. Because they are constantly present in his mind, even while filming and preparing for works.

He stressed that his mother’s death was one of the most difficult situations he had experienced throughout his life, as he did not want to bring that event back into his memory or think about it.

Al-Muzayen described himself as emotional and romantic, expressing his deep love for his wife, whom he considered himself to have wronged at the beginning of their marriage. Because of his recklessness and constant travel for work, he praised her talent for “cooking.”

He stressed that he did not write his will, as he rejects that and hopes that love remains the title of everyone, honesty with oneself and others, and also pleasing God Almighty.
